Our adoption process is designed to be simple, transparent, and personal. Here's what you can expect when you're considering a Toy or Mini Australian Shepherd puppy from Crossroads Mini Aussies LLC.

If you're planning to add a Toy or Mini Aussie to your family, we invite you to complete our Puppy Interest / Waitlist Application.

Our interest list helps us learn more about what you're looking for, including your desired timeframe and preferences. Joining the interest list does not guarantee a puppy or reserve a specific puppy.

We'll share updates about upcoming litters, pregnancy announcements, and the personalities of our puppies.

We encourage prospective families to follow us on social media and check our website regularly for the latest updates.

Once a litter arrives, our focus is on Mom and her puppies. During the first several weeks, we monitor their growth and development and give them plenty of individual care and attention.

As the puppies grow, we begin learning more about each puppy's personality, temperament, activity level, and overall development.

When the puppies are old enough for families to begin making their selections, we will contact families on our interest list according to our established selection process.

We want families to choose a puppy that is a good fit for their lifestyle -not simply based on color or markings.

We'll be happy to answer questions and help you understand the personalities and characteristics we are seeing in each puppy.

Once you have selected a puppy and we have confirmed that the puppy is a good fit for your family, a $300.00 Puppy Deposit is required to reserve your puppy.

The deposit is applied toward the total purchase price of your puppy. Please review our Puppy Deposit Agreement before submitting your deposit.

Once your puppy is reserved, the fun really begins!

We'll continue providing updates and photos as your puppy grows and reaches important milestones. We love allowing our puppy families to be part of this journey, even before their puppy comes home.

Before going home, each puppy will receive age-appropriate care and preparation according to our puppy protocols.

Your puppy will go home with the appropriate records and information to help you get off to a great start, including information about feeding, care, vaccinations, deworming, and veterinary recommendations.

We will also provide the necessary paperwork and agreements associated with your puppy's adoption.

The day you've been waiting for is finally here!

Once your puppy reaches our established go-home age and is ready to leave our care, you'll be able to bring your new family member home.

We'll review important information with you and make sure you have what you need to give your puppy a smooth transition into your home.

Our relationship with you doesn't end when your puppy leaves our home.

We hope to stay connected with our Crossroads families and love seeing our puppies grow into happy, healthy, adults. We're always excited to receive updates, photos, and stories about the lives our puppies are sharing with their families.
